2nd April 2009 – Here we see the BBC disseminate a (now discredited) police view, plus a live interview with Charles Veitch (Actor: http://www.starnow.co.uk/charlesveitch)
The character assassination of a man killed by the police within the previous 24 hours!
Introducing a young “City Worker” Charles Veitch who really, really – “Loves the Police”
Two weeks after this event Charlie was made redundant from his “sales associate” job and started making YouTube videos!
Surprise surprise Mr Veitch we’ve kept our eye on you!
First let’s explain to people you were not really part of the protest, as you stated to the IPCC “It is your hobby to attend protests and “heckle” demonstrators.”
At the London G20 in 2009 a man called Ian Tomlinson a newspaper seller and not part of the demonstration was “unlawfully killed” in a totally unprovoked attack by Police Constable Simon Harwood.
Our video shows Charlie’s firsthand account of Mr Tomlinson being killed.
Luckily the truth was caught on video and the court didn’t have to rely on Charlie. The jury found Harwood had used “excessive and unreasonable” force in hitting Mr Tomlinson from behind with a baton and then shoving him to the ground.
Charlie’s official witness statement to the IPCC: “I can confirm that when the man was initially lying on the ground there was no police in the area.”
Update 17th September 2012
Let’s hope next time someone is killed by the police :
Charlie doesn’t make assumptions about drugs with such eagerness!
Charlie doesn’t side with the state with such eagerness!
Charlie doesn’t seek self-publicity with such eagerness!
Charlie still hasn’t said sorry to the family of Mr Tomlinson!
Charlie didn’t know we had this recording!
So today 5th September 2012 we’ve decided to put the record straight and release this video clip for the first time on YouTube.
We recorded this live broadcast when it was aired.

The Charlie Veitch conspiracy (CommonlyKnownAsDom’s Darkcity Radio Show)
5th August 2013 – Deputy Assistant Commissioner Maxine de Brunner said: “I take full responsibility for the actions of Simon Harwood on 1 April 2009.”
“His actions fell far below the standard we expect from our officers. I accept the finding of the inquest that Mr Tomlinson was unlawfully killed.”
“As the jury found, ‘at the time of the strike and push, Mr Tomlinson was walking away from the police line. He was complying with police instructions to leave Royal Exchange Buildings. He posed no threat.”
“Today, I apologise unreservedly for Simon Harwood’s use of excessive and unlawful force, which caused Mr Tomlinson’s death, and for the suffering and distress caused to his family as a result.”
Ms De Brunner apologised for the police’s “ill-considered comments” immediately after Mr Tomlinson died and for how the family found out the truth through the press.
