A retired Deutsche Bank executive has been found dead at his London home in what appears to be a suicide.
The body of William Broeksmit was found at his South Kensington home on Sunday shortly after midday by London police responding to reports of a man hanging at a house.
Scotland Yard confirmed a 58-year old a man was pronounced dead at the scene and the death is being treated as “non-suspicious”.
A spokesperson said: “Police were called at 12.35pm on Sunday to a man found hanging at Evelyn Gardens, SW7.
“Kensington and Chelsea police, ambulance and air ambulance all attended. A 58-year-old man was declared dead at the scene. The death is being treated as non-suspicious.”
