It has come to light that the Government via the Department of Work and Pensions is outsourcing the opening and processing of welfare benefit applications to Royal Mail.
Are the powers that be stupid, incompetent, or both? Have they no regard for the integrity and privacy of peoples personal information? It seems not! As it appears that applicants are not being asked for there consent, or being informed that this process is even taking place.

GUATEMALA CITY — Guatemala’s Volcano of Fire is spewing lava and ash and the director of the national disaster agency says officials are carrying out “a massive evacuation of thousands of people” in five communities.
The statement by Alejandro Maldonado comes after the volcano spewed lava nearly 2,000 feet (600 meters) down slopes billowing with ash on Thursday.
Seismologists say explosions have been coming from the 12,346-foot-high (3,763-meter-high) volcano, which is near the Guatemalan tourist center of Antigua.

On Thursday, a Federal judge made permanent an injunction barring the indefinite detention of Americans without charge under the National Defense Authorization Act. The group of plaintiffs in this case comprised of seven journalists claiming this piece of legislation jeopardizes their livelihood. Their argument was that under the NDAA they could be detained indefinitely for just reporting on the violence in the Middle-East and interacting with terrorists.
