Earlier today I posted a article about six cases of the rare hantavirus pulmonary syndrome which is being spread by Rats & the west nile virus & mosquitoes in the US. Now there is another article about Mosquitoes spreading disease in India. I think we must all take great care not to be bitten by mosquitoes in any country’s as these things are lethal and can probably spread any disease known to man. Please take care and if you live near these places where mosquitoes are present do everything you can to protect yourself and your family against these potential killer insects.
DHANGADHI: A dengue patient from Dododhara VDC in Kailali district has died on Saturday morning.
Bhakta Bahadur Chaudhary (24) of Dododhara Ward No-9 died while he was being taken to Nepalgunj for treatment, said Prem Bahadur Singh of District Public Health Office (DPHO), Kailali.
Earlier, Bhakta Bahadur tested positive for dengue virus at the Seti Zonal Hospital Dhangadhi. However, other two people who had caught dengue virus were returned home after treatment.
Meanwhile, the DPHO has launched public awareness campaign on the disease affected areas. A door to door programme has been launched to control the disease from spreading, said the Office.
