Angela Prattis, a Pennsylvania lunch lady, is being fined $600 everyday by Chester Township for handing out food to local hungry children. That’s because she’s been doing it from outside her home, which is not zoned for this purpose. Additionally, the town says she hasn’t filed for and paid the necessary fee to become a recognized charity. Patrick Jones says this is an example of bureaucracy at its worst.
