PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is looking to hire people to work at the Portland International Airport.
The Transportation Security Administration is hosting an informational forum about how to apply for the positions on Wednesday.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel, 8235 N.E. Airport Way, in the Mt. Hood Ballroom.
Part-time positions start out at $14.72 an hour plus benefits.
No previous experience is required.
Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or a U.S. national. A high school diploma, GED or equivalent is required, as is proficiency in English.
A background check, credit check and drug test will be required for qualified applicants.
