PETERSBURG, FL—
Hold on to your stomachs…an anonymous tipster claims a Vietnamese restaurant inSt. Petersburg, Florida was catching and cooking up rats! The complaint claimed that Thuy Cafe employees were capturing rodents on their roof and parking lot, then taking the furry little nasties to a tin shack behind the restaurant to get cleaned and cooked.
Though the eating establishment has had some inspection violations in the past, like food stored in Home Depot buckets and rodent droppings by their freezer, the restaurant vehemently denies serving up vermin in their Vietnamese food.
Thuy Cafe customers say they’ll keep going back to the cafe. But, you have to figure, any story that features rats and a restaurant has got to be bad for business.
