Britain are rumoured to be putting together a resolution that would invoke chapter 7 of the UN Charter – resolution would be legal and imposed by military force!!
WTF are we thinking!! Russia are not going to take anything to do with this and would see this as an act of war on one of its allies, Syria.
And we hear that also in the resolution, will be chapter 41, which would limit, or rule out military force, but would allow us to cut of syria from the outside world, including taking over tv and communications, and this would be carried out by the military, making it, an act of war, yes?

Banks are not the only beneficiaries of lower Libor rates. Debtors (and investors) whose floating or variable rate loans are pegged in some way to Libor also benefit. One could argue that by fixing the rate low, the banks were cheating themselves out of interest income, because the effect of the low Libor rate is to lower the interest rate on customer loans, such as variable rate mortgages that banks possess in their portfolios.
The US Fifth Fleet, based out of Bahrain, fired on a small sporting boat just outside the Dubai port of Jebel Ali. One passenger was killed and three others injured.
The boat, a 27-foot-long “Boston Whaler” type vessel with multiple outboard engines, docked in Dubai immediately afterwards. Observers noted one bodybag being removed by emergency response crews and two injured people being taken ashore.
US officials claim they had “issued warnings,” but failed to say what those warnings were.

In 2005, Americans, garbed in “Islamic Guard” uniforms operating three Zodiac-type boats, approached American ships in the Persian Gulf. At the same time, radio traffic was generated under the identifier “rabbit” and was claimed to be containing threats and taunts against the American Navy.
These signals came from sources working with the US “false-flag” team, sources inside the security services of Bahrain.

A television presenter whose job was to prevent people being ripped off has been sentenced to 12 weeks in prison for benefit fraud.
Dan Penteado, who worked on the BBC’s Rogue Traders and Watchdog programmes, admitted eight offences of dishonestly or knowingly claiming council tax and housing benefits worth more than £24,000.
Bournemouth magistrates heard how he had neglected to mention earning more than £56,000 for his television work over three years.
The 40-year-old failed to tell officials about one of his bank accounts when he first filled in a claim form in 2007 and repeated the fraud over four subsequent years.
The court heard that Penteado, who has worked alongside television presenter Matt Allwright since 2001, “received £24,077.60 in housing and council tax benefit he wasn’t entitled to”.
Penteado’s solicitor, Terrence Scanlan, told the court that his client had never had permanent work at the BBC, only a series of short term contacts.
Deeply in debt and with a young family to support, Penteado decided not to interrupt the flow of housing benefit, a decision “he recognises now as a very, very poor judgement on his part”.

Army chiefs have been dispatched to the headquarters of G4S to take a more active role in controlling security for the London Olympics, The Independent has learnt, following the company’s failure to fulfil its £250m contract to guard the Games.
The move marks an escalation in the military’s involvement in the saga and results from a sense of mounting concern and anger within Whitehall about G4S’s inability to provide the promised security guards to guard athletes and spectators over the coming month. It will be viewed as a further wounding blow to the firm’s credibility.
Police officers from nine forces are also now being drafted in to bolster the security operation at Olympic venues and athletes’ hotels after G4S staff failed to appear.
The military may be asked to supply another 2,000 personnel, after already increasing numbers deployed to 17,000 following the failure of G4S to present the full quota of guards needed for the Olympics.
The planning for further reinforcements has been hampered, however, because both G4S and the Games organizers, Locog, have been unable so far to specify in which areas the latest shortfalls have occurred.
The dispatch of Army officers to G4S headquarters follows a growing feeling in the Ministry of Defence that it would be necessary to set up a combined headquarters with the military taking a more active role in the overall command of the Games.
The Home Secretary, Theresa May, admitted yesterday the Government still could not predict how many G4S guards would turn up for duty next week at the Olympic Park. In her second emergency statement in four days on the crisis, she insisted ministers were only alerted to the crisis last week. But her version of events was contradicted by London Mayor Boris
