The Soyuz TMA-05M spacecraft and its booster were moved to the launch pad at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on a railcar July 12 for final preparations before launch to the International Space Station on July 15. The Soyuz TMA-05M will carry Expedition 32/33 Soyuz Commander Yuri Malenchenko, NASA Flight Engineer Suni Williams and Flight Engineer Aki Hoshide of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency to the orbital outpost. The trio will spend four months on the laboratory, joining station Commander Gennady Padalka, NASA Flight Engineer Joe Acaba and Russian Flight Engineer Sergei Revin, who have been in orbit since mid-May. The footage includes interviews with Peggy Whitson, Chief of the Astronaut Office at the Johnson Space Center and Janet Kavandi, the Director of Flight Crew Operations at the Johnson Space Center.
