A taxi driver accused of touching up a passenger and locking her in his car was tried in his absence after a jury heard he had returned to his native Iran.
Farman Abdullah, 25, denied sexually assaulting a female passenger in his Cam Cab car at a hearing in April, but left the UK before his trial started in his absence at Cambridge Crown Court on Monday.
