March 12th Magnetopause Anomaly Didn’t Originate From Leo – Here’s Why
Nor did it arrive directly along the ecliptic plane. From a behind-earth perspective, the point of origin would have been between 20-30 degrees to the right and a declination of approx ~+30 degrees, which on 3/12/2012 would have placed it near Hercules. Links below to do your own research.
