A teacher at an Islamic school committed a string of child sex crimes over 22 years.
At Harrow Crown Court, Hasnain Manji admitted seven counts of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, six counts of sexual activity with a boy and two counts of indecent assault.
The first crime happened as long ago as November 1989, when Manji attacked a 12-year-old boy.
I am disgusted with this news, as a parent of four children myself my heart goes out to those who had to suffer this ordeal. As a member of this community this comes as a shock that this man was getting the liberty to prey on these children who are now adults for so long. We like to hide away from the fact that no one or no community is immune to this, people living amonst us, who look like us, talk like us but behind all that there is a sick human being. With that fact this individual was a teacher in the community who knew that this is the biggest crime againts himself but his religion too and those unsuspecting victims.
